Tar spot samples coming in today, 5 counties turned on. I still suggest waiting to pull the fungicide trigger till we get full tassel/silk as the hot weather will slow it down. Thanks to @purdueppdl for providing images of stromata and ascospores. Dan Quinn Purdue Extension

➡️It takes about 2-3 weeks after infection for you to see tar spot on the corn plant. ➡️While current weather conditions are low risk for tar spot, hot, humid, and wet is about as good as it gets for gray leaf spot. ➡️Scout fields before you make mgmt decisions!

Soybeans face different stresses at each stage. Understand all of the stages and which risks matter most. Management can make the difference between average and exceptional yields. ow.ly/4uzK50Wbz61
