Just spent the last 8 months learning Spanish and finally feel like I’m a competent speaker and it now looks like I’ll be moving to...Germany

I got this book this evening from one of the diglot.ie team. Their approach to language acquisition is to weave words from the language you want to learn into classic texts. I am trying to get better at Irish so will give this a go. Diglot Social

And in both cases the answer is 1. Just wait until you understand it clearly enough from getting lots of exposure 2. Don't worry about it

Heard a language teacher say the reason why sometimes subtitles don’t match the audio is because they want there to be less words on the screen to read… MY MIND IS BLOWN This makes sense but as a language learner this is annoying 😭😭😭
