I want you to know that survivors of torture are utterly terrified of being bundled onto a plane to Rwanda - a notorious torturing state. I met with around 20 survivors today in treatment at our Manchester rehabilitation centre and this was top of their agenda.

Time flies when you are having fun.. here are some of my highlights from #ECFS2024 but definitely glad to be home now! Grateful for the opportunity to attend and be inspired by the wider CF community. Huge thanks also to Royal College of Occupational Therapists for funding my travel to Glasgow 🙏🏼

With the conclusion of #ECFS2024 , I want to give a shout out to the wonderful Luigi Graziano , a respiratory therapist who first presented this work 7 years ago at #ECFS2017 and has encouraged me to keep pushing and believing in the role of OT in CF. A true pioneer 💫

Often the #PhysicalActivity space can feel over-saturated with many wonderful professionals working in this area, but Sport for Confidence demonstrate the value of focusing on occupations and breaking down barriers to exercise e.g. using the showers after swimming, booking sessions etc.

Very envious of the Swansea pre-registration #OccupationalTherapy students who get to cover a variety of cutting edge topics including AI, genomics, robotics, cybersecurity, wearables etc. in their modules.. My #FOMO levels are off the scale😅 #RCOT2024
