Hearing Lesia Vasylenko speak passionately about topics from Russia’s aggression against Ukraine and the requirements for future peace to the gender equality that sees her serve as an MP while her husband looks after their three children. Just wow. #ftwomenatthetop

Hey Budget Car Rental trying to reach your Manchester rental as have an emergency. I know they are open but your lines are closed. What to do?

Author Lucy Colback launches her book Afterbursts at Royal Air Force Club this evening. We were delighted to help link her with veterans who shared their story with her.

Delighted to launch my book at the Royal Air Force Club last night. Jill Whitwell, whose father Ray is on the cover, and David Cadman, son of 3 Commando Roy who died last week, joined me to celebrate their fathers. Royal Hospital Chelsea sent three wonderful Pensioners. Thank you all for coming

The book launch I went to the other night featured my old friend Fergus Anckorn. There is a bit here. lucy colback has done a very good job on a difficult subject. afterbursts.com/f/coming-home

Was sent this photo of my party on Tuesday at Royal Air Force Club. Never when I was a child in awe of these gents in red coats would I have expected three to come to a party I would throw for a book I had written on #WW2. You never know what the future holds. Thank you, Royal Hospital Chelsea vets

In Ministry of Defence 🇬🇧 heartland neighbouring South East RFCA facilities, AldershotMilitaryMuseum, Royal Army Physical Training Corps museum and Friends of the Museum of Military Medicine and know that 100s if not 1000s of people within a 5mi radius would love my book of WW2 survivor stories. Tweet me with ideas on how to tell them it exists!

I see your Arnhem is a book for the summer, Al Murray 🇺🇦. Off to have a read now. Would love to compare notes on the soldiers’ eye views from some of the vets featured in Afterbursts.
