In Feb 2018, a friend of mine (rashly) bet me that by 25 June (my birthday) 2025, I would be able to hire a driverless taxi to meet him (Greater London area). If I could, he’d win the bet and I’d buy him lunch at a restaurant of his choosing, if I couldn’t, I won and vice versa.
