The Government is publishing its disability cuts Bill today - slashing up to £7 BILLION in vital support.   This isn’t about helping disabled people. These cruel cuts will drive 100,000s into poverty. These cuts should have been dropped. Now they should be voted down.

PIP is not an out of work benefit, and the DWP have already informed us via FOIs that many of those who rely on PIP to stay in work - 55% of them (of 510,000) - will lose their PIP. Starmer's 'moral crusade' is a lie.

The Independent Alliance has tabled the following amendment to the Government's disability cuts Bill. MPs should think long and hard about the dreadful consequences these cuts will have. Rest assured, we will keep campaigning for the rights of disabled people to live in dignity.
