I passed through Dublin airport this week and picked up this Teeling Whiskey……Crystal Malt…..hubba hubba! Big shout to Stewart Quail and the lads in Terminal 1 for looking after me!

Just the one tonight, but it’s a Bank Holiday Bottle Kill of the Dunville’s 18 Palo Cortado Single Cask. While I prefer the PX bottlings, I really enjoyed this over the three or so years I’ve had it open.

Having an auld #FridayNightDram accompanied by a new opening pour of W.D. O’Connell Whiskey Merchants 5 yo Small Batch Amontillado cask. A whisp of smoke and a good fortified influence. Approachable and interesting in equal measure. Anyone joining me? It’s been a while……

Congrats to ClonakiltyDistillery for this excellent Single Pot Still that they have just released... In top 3 sips tried Whiskey Live Dublin . At 46% and well priced this delivers great robust flavours, V well balanced (Spice, caramel,sea salt, & choc orange) and has grt rich mouth feel.
