Angela Cadogan Jo Sharp 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇪🇺🏳️‍🌈 Professor Andrew Cuff It's sadly true that many reviewers have little knowledge or comprehension of diagnostic accuracy studies. Further, those with some idea often are not aware of the STARD initiative equator-network.org/reporting-guid…

This is a very interesting and well written read, from a patient but written on a level really great for clinicians and patients alike. If nothing, it will probably help you explain why a scan isn't needed to them. Peter O'Sullivan #backpain #physio theguardian.com/society/2018/j…

My heart is broken. My country is weeping and so am I. I am dying knowing that this kind of hatred can happen in my homeland. All my love goes out to Christchurch, the victims, the families, the Muslim community, and all who have chosen our islands as their home. This is not us.

I have just received notification that an article on SIJ diagnostics I reviewed was rejected (as I recommended). Seeing the other reviewer comments though was a shock. It seems that lit reviews are used democratically & uncritcally. ..2

I use MRI in lower back pain 🤭 I also get asked frequently how I manage the scan follow up consults & handle patient Qs So here is a mini-thread which gives a little comms synopsis - some may nod sagely, others may roll their eyes - that’s cool - no right or wrong.
