Whilst some of us have had a post-Birdfair break, our Marine Queen Bethan has been out monitoring Humpback Whale off the East Yorkshire coast 🐋 How incredible are these images! Beth is a Marine Medic and was ensuring the Whales were safe and not in any distress.

Afterwards we settled on the Marine Drive in Scarborough looking for any cetaceans. We saw 3 Harbour Porpoise feeding, a Common Scoter below us and a razorbill!

Our Ecology Team have been ery busy conducting wildlife surveys up and down the UK over the past few months. One of the commonest species we see on our sites, and one some of us take for granted is the Brown Hare! Whether it's on farmland surveys, building sites or on the coast
