Overnight, nationalisation has been normalised to save steelmaking in Scunthorpe. How many times did I raise this in the Senedd when it came to Port Talbot, only to be dismissed? Unwaith eto, mae Llafur yng Nghaerdydd a Llundain wedi methu â diogelu buddiannau gweithwyr Cymru.

So the Labour UK Government will nationalise this steelworks having rejected calls by Plaid Cymru 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 to do the same to maintain virgin steel-making and save 1000s of jobs at Port Talbot. Wales, and in particular the local communities affected, will never forget Labour’s inaction.

When global market forces devastated Welsh livelihoods in Port Talbot, Labour dismissed Plaid Cymru’s calls for nationalisation as ‘pipe dreams’. Now it’s England, they act. Labour has taken Wales for granted for far too long.

Keir Starmer says ‘all options are on the table’ for Scunthorpe – rightly so. But when Port Talbot faced crisis, Labour mocked Plaid Cymru’s call for nationalisation. Labour has betrayed Welsh industrial communities.

Forgot to add the white flag you and your Welsh Labour colleagues flew in the face of TATA Steel workers at Port Talbot, leading to the loss of 2,800 jobs.

My question clearly struck a nerve. The faces of many Labour MPs told their own story – plenty of them know I was right. If Starmer’s convictions change with the political weather, it’s no surprise that support for Labour is falling through the floor.

For almost a year, Labour in Wales has repeatedly voted AGAINST Plaid Cymru 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿’s calls to scrap the two child benefit cap. The people of Wales will not be fooled into thinking they’ve had a sudden change of heart. The First Minister never leads, she only follows.

The Labour Gov’t has literally just taken over £300m from Wales by reclassifying the Oxford–Cambridge line as an England and Wales project Add that to the missing HS2 billions and years of underfunding by Labour and the Tories, and it’s clear just how badly Wales is shortchanged

This is at best 10% of what’s owed to Wales, and we’re supposed to be grateful. You’ll see plenty of spin trying to make out this is good news, but keep in mind we are owed BILLIONS and that Labour used to agree with us about this before the election!

Eluned Morgan would take the minus offer on The Chase if Keir Starmer told her to. How on earth can she claim this is a good deal for Wales, when the Welsh Government is the ONLY devolved government to get LESS capital investment? Time for change, time for Plaid Cymru 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿.
