Wilson sophomore Wyland Obando ran 1:50.26 in the boys 800 to claim second place at the CIF State Track and Field Championship Meet in Clovis. Obando is looking forward to helping Long Beach Wilson Track & Field run well in the boys 4x400 relay.

In the final event of the night, the Long Beach Wilson Track & Field Bruins win the CIF State 4x400 relay in a state leading time but LB Poly Trackrabbits & XC wins the overall team title!!
