After nearly 1100 runners and walkers crossed the line today, finally the volunteers can draw a line under our 777th parkrun. The results have been cross-referenced and are now up on the website: parkrun.org.uk/wimbledon/resu…

We are joining in the celebration of the NHS's 75th birthday on 8 July and invite you to join us at Wimbledon parkrun to walk, jog or run and wear something in 'NHS blue', or even medical wear...

We may be on an alternate course this weekend as the hornets have returned this week...

We are going ahead with Wimbledon parkrun this weekend, on 14 October, at the usual time and place, hopefully see you all there...

A reminder that tomorrow is our annual Santa run - please come dressed appropriately (hats, lights, tinsel, etc.) and bring some money as our local stem4 charity will be collecting from regulars on the day.

Every parkrun must have a defibrillator to go ahead. Without it we must cancel our event. Our current one is coming to the end of its life. A new one costs £815.95 and so we are asking, if you are able, please go to parkrun.org.uk/wimbledon/abou… and donate to Wimbledon Common parkrun.

Unfortunately, the hornets have made a return to Wimbledon Common parkrun course this week, as such we will be running on the alternative course until they disappear again.

A reminder too that we are always on the lookout for new volunteers interested in joining our regular photographer, report writer and car park marshall teams. Report writers and car park marshalls can often run as well. Please reach out to our volunteer team next Saturday.

Unforunately, due to Storm Darragh, we have had to make the decision to cancel Wimbledon parkrun today. Hopefully we'll see you all again next week...
