Today, we joined thousands of police personnel and community members at the Ontario Police Memorial Ceremony of Remembrance to honour the brave officers who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the line of duty. #HeroesInLife

The WPA was proud to attend the Ontario Police Memorial Ceremony today to honour fallen officers. We especially remember our own, Constable John Atkinson, who was killed in the line of duty on May 5, 2006. His sacrifice will never be forgotten. #HeroesInLife

Today marks 19 years since Cst John Atkinson was tragically killed in the line of duty. We honour his courage, his sacrifice, & the life he lived as a husband, father, & friend. At 10:00 a.m. today, we ask everyone to pause for a moment of silence in his honour #HeroesInLife
