With deep sadness, we mark the passing of Professor Douglas Chamberlain. Pioneer, mentor, and the grandfather of paramedicine. His vision shaped our profession and saved countless lives. His legacy lives on in every paramedic and every life touched. Rest in peace, Professor.

What an emotional rollercoaster this block of shifts has been. The MHRV has supported so many people struggling with suicidal thoughts and crisis. I'm incredibly proud of what we've achieved as a team. offering hope, and making a difference when it mattered most.

After a tough week, my reset button is simple: reflect on what happened, think about the people involved, then give myself space to unwind. It’s not about fixing everything, just understanding and healing.
