UPDATE: Blue/Orange Line: Trains are not running between Eastern Market and Cheverly and between Eastern Market and Capitol Heights because of an earlier fire outside Stadium-Armory. Shuttle service is available. Orange and Blue Line trains are operating every 18 minutes.

An electrical fire outside of Stadium-Armory caused a significant service disruption that our crews will be working overnight to address. Service continues to be suspended in the affected area. Stay tuned to Metrorail Info for updates in the morning as we work to restore service.

Our crews worked through the night to repair the root cause of yesterday’s fire near Stadium-Armory to ensure normal service on Blue, Orange, and Silver lines this morning. Thank you to our dedicated team for working quickly and safely to address the issue.
