As good a day as any to share that I’ll be joining the mighty group of women at the Women’s Equality & Inequality programme (Oxford History) as a Research Associate this year! Overjoyed is insufficient to describe how I feel 💜

So excited to be part of this collaboration with Southall Black Sisters nia & FiLiA to create a feminist summer camp for vulnerable young women & girls in 2024! 🖤 #8MarchWomensDay Full Morning Star article: morningstaronline.co.uk/article/new-pr…

At the Rook Retreat for a women’s writing workshop with Victoria Smith 📚 We were asked to bring “one favourite piece of feminist writing”, oops!

Female friendship, crime, politics… what more could you want! Secured Amanda Craig’s new novel The Three Graces just in time for this weekend’s heatwave 🌷

I'm giving a talk about some of my research on 26 January at the Institute of Historical Research (Institute of Historical Research). All welcome, booking required, in person & online! ⤵️ history.ac.uk/events/love-yo…

So important that this book is getting the attention it deserves! I love how Spender offered up breadcrumbs of her own research, like how she found out about Hazel Hunkins Hallinan (or H³) from a 1980 article in Spare Rib. "Laying bare our feminist continuum" - Sharon Crozier-De Rosa @scrozierderosa.bsky.social

I wrote a thing! Thanks so much to History Workshop and Vivien Chan for the opportunity 📚✨

This by Dr Bec Wonders is simply fascinating on second wave feminist print culture. It makes me wonder how much of the toxic divides we see now in feminism are down to these miserable digital platforms and how they enforce division and individualism rather than solidarity & debate.
