So pleased hearing this interview. Had the joy of coaching Beth through a few seasons and I have to admit the club making her captain of the Devs was a great move, fantastic role model and most importantly allowed Beth to enjoy football again!

Good meeting tonight with the Royal Wootton Bassett Town FC girls section coaches. Discussing the revision of our club philosophy and how we can progress the club. Enjoyed getting ideas off others and pleased that I was able to offer some experience and tools I have used. Boys section Thursday 💙💛

A big shame, obviously I don’t know the reasons why but Jason is a great guy and was a massive advocate of the club when I joined. I hope it’s another opportunity or a deserved break but if it is to move on whoever it is will be lucky to have you in their staff Jason Carbon 🫡

Tonight was the turn of the boys setup. I was a bit nervous admittedly as the section is bigger, but it was a great engaged session. Got a great buzz off some of the ideas to move us forward. Now time to put it all together!

Pleased for the club , from when I stepped down James was one of the first names I thought of who could drive the group forward. It was a strong candidate pool but this will be a great appointment. Best of luck James!
