“Gratitude, Joy and Love" As she was being honored by the Worcester School Committee with a ceremonial chair for her 3 years of service on Wednesday, Dr. Rachel Monárrez used those words to describe how she feels about the Worcester Public Schools.

The School Committee recognized graduating seniors Maryjane Bitar of Worcester Tech and Thomas Sutton of Burncoat for serving as student representatives on the School Committee. Sutton will be attending St. Anselm College and Bitar will be attending University of Connecticut
