A super day working with the Hawksmoor Learning trust and Orbis, in Northamptonshire, developing words and performance. During the day, groups of learners also took my words and chopped them up to create these fabulous microphone collages. Words have the power to set us free!

Words have the power to set us free. My words have taken me across the country in the last few weeks and we continue. Language can transform us and that is my message!

On Sunday 16th March, I will be hosting a 'This Grief Thing' grief gatherings @delapreabbey in Northampton. These are spaces for people to come and talk about grief in a safe space. Tickets are free and available on the delapreabbey.org website.

This was a brilliant afternoon. The picture of me jumping shows the pure energy of the session. You can't beat writing poetry about escaping from granny because she's making you peel brussel- sprouts!

To celebrate World Poetry Day we were lucky enough to have a visit from Word Guerrilla for some performance poetry!

Write a book they said...and then I ended up creating collages. I am currently creating a book but in a way that excites me. Creativity is about playing- with words, pictures or whatever excites or compels you. We should all harness creativity for its own sake

At an event this weekend, I had the pleasure of interviewing pro-boxer Kieron Conway about his upcoming British title contest next month. About finding success, he said: stay focussed, dedicated to the cause and keep the right people close to you...poetic and true words for life!

Not many poets or rappers talk about the important things in life...like eating haggis😂! am in West Lancashire all this week, working in schools and developing positivity through words.

Amazing to come back and be part of this again.

A few weeks back, I worked with a number of schools in Lancashire, developing poetry around the theme of positivity. Last night, the schools came together and some of the young poets shared their work. Poetry needs to come alive, spoken off the page! Respect to all the poets.

What a fantastic evening of performance and positivity.

It was fantastic to share my words with these young people and spark passion for writing and performing.
