A friend has just bought a book with 'Fifty Drawings of Glasgow' by Muirhead Bone (1876 – 1953) One of the etchings is of the library wing of Glasgow School of Art which was then being built.

Wyndhams Theatre the latest to block me from booking single ticket online; I had to waste time ringing them. Claim is that ‘this leaves a single seat difficult to sell’ but there are loads of people who want to go alone to performances. I think it’s discriminatory. cc Society of London Theatre

How interesting/predictable that the Scottish Government can commit £11m for golf events over 11 years (11!) at a time when it refuses to commit a penny of funding to any cultural festivals or events due to take place after March 2025, leaving an entire industry in limbo! ⛳️

I want you to realise the scale. UNESCO estimates that the damage caused by russian aggression since 2014 to Ukrainian cultural heritage exceeds $2.6 billion. This looting of Ukrainian museums is believed to be the largest since the Second World War.
