Lovely morning today on our first picket at Lancaster University. Striking for fair pensions and conditions in higher education. And for all our friends and colleagues BLS Lancaster University. We're doing this because our working conditions are our students learning conditions. #UCUstrikes

I met with 3 constituents today at the STEM awards - all Lancaster University PhD students doing amazing work on extreme flooding events, nuclear safety & Alzheimer’s disease. Eleanor, Callum and Lauren are a credit to the city and it’s been really great to see their work.

To celebrate #IWD2022 we are proud to share the work of PhD Student Lauren Owens pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35180123/ mini 🧵1/6
