Today Carers NI via the Carer Poverty Commission launches its latest report on supporting carers to remain in employment. The WPI Economics report looks at what support mechanisms could help carers overcome barriers to employment & what would help to lift them out of poverty.

🚨Unpaid carers save our health and social care system £5.8 billion every year in care costs. Today's report from WPI Economics shows that if we had access to paid carer’s leave and more flexible working, it could bring between 6,800-14,700 additional carers back to employment.
