Today is “Bewick’s Swan Day“ in the BTO and the Rare Breeding Birds Panel’s drive To raise awareness and funds in support of the U.K.’s declining bird populations, through publication of #IntoTheRed.

Oriole Birding are in Oman! The first full day of our first tour in this amazing country has yielded some fabulous birds; too many to mention here. Pics below are of Pallid Scops Owl, Arabian Green Bee-eater, Clamorous Reed Warbler and Caspian Plover.

Great day out on the Broads with WVBS bird club. Highlights for me Cranes, Peregrines, Hen Harrier, Barn Owls, Woodcock, Bearded Tit, Bean Geese, Kingfisher, Whooper Swans, Goldeneye and a host of waders!

A fabulous first day back out birding with WVBS Started with a Woodcock flyby in Burgh Castle car park & ended with a Bittern flyby at Trinity Broad. Forgot to take bird pics, & could barely remember how to assemble the scope, so hey, here’s the WVBS gang working hard🤔
