Postdoc positions available in my lab Karolinska Institutet - exciting science and fantastic environment. I take mentoring seriously - 7/7 postdocs that left my lab has faculty positions today. Existing datasets and funds to build new ones available. shorturl.at/sj2YE

Thank you to Xin Jin, PhD (Xin Jin, PhD) and Justus Kebschull, PhD (Justus) for presenting their research at the recent Klingenstein Fellowship Awards in Neuroscience Conference. 📷 : SimonProPhoto

When we came to see our destroyed labs hit by an Iranian missile, we found that a piano had survived Weizmann Institute

Love seeing colleagues and friends #slay! Congrats to Moriel Zelikowsky University of Utah for being becoming an HHMI Hrabowski scholar!! See many familiar faces in the list too..tina kim Xin Jin, PhD hhmi.org/programs/freem…

Congratulations to the new Hrabowski scholars, including my department colleague Xin Jin, PhD! hhmi.org/programs/freem…

So excited to share this paper led by Shivani Baisiwala, MD MS! Check out iHOTT!!

Excited to share the first 2(!) preprints from the Kebschull Lab. The amazing Hyopil Kim developed MAPseq2 & POINTseq and used them to map the dopaminergic cells of VTA and SNc. tl;dr MAPseq2=10x cheaper, 4x better; POINTseq=easy cell type specific barcoding; DA neurons=very cool

New preprint from Wei-Chung Allen Lee @darbly.bsky.social lab, Brian DePasquale lab, and my lab! If you love (or hate) mosquitoes, have a look: doi.org/10.1101/2025.0… We used TEM to describe the circuitry used for CO2 detection by mosquitoes. As usual with mosquitoes, nothing is as expected! 🌬️🦟

🎙️Tune in to Episode 199 of #TheGeneticsPodcast 🚀 This week, we’re joined by Xin Jin, PhD, Associate Professor in the Department of Neuroscience at Scripps Research. She shares how in vivo Perturb-seq, a technique she pioneered, is unlocking a new era of scalable, high-resolution
