It was a bittersweet moment watching Yalini Wijesundara defend her thesis today and become a doctor! My entire first year I roamed around like a baby duckling behind her, learning everything I could from my mentor. Time flies, indeed. Good luck in Colorado, Yalini!

Yalini Wijesundara today defended her doctorate, and now she is a doctor. Yalini is my best friend, my family here and she is the best mentor I could ask, she always always there and she is just so helpful and selfless person. She is the sweetest person and I will miss her a lot.
