双子と公園で鉄棒遊びしてたら、小学生の子たちが「これできるよ〜」と技を披露。負けじと逆上がりをやってみたら「なにそれすごい!」とびっくりされ、そこから1時間逆上がり教室。韓国ではあまりメジャーじゃないらしく、鉄棒文化も国によって違うの面白い。今日はもちろん筋肉痛。

Our second paper this year shows that, unlike Chlamydomonas, Chlorella accumulates lipids under ER stress. Due to its glucose transporters, 2DG promotes lipid accumulation efficiently. This study was a collaboration with CKD Bio, affiliated with the company behind Lactofit.

Our third paper of the year is a wonderful collaboration with my former PI, Yuree, and her amazing team. We found a remarkable wound-healing mechanism in mature Arabidopsis leaves where mesophyll cells adopt an epidermal identity to rebuild a multi-layered protective barrier.
