New AW Women’s Basketball head coach Coach Adams is coaching a girls team for the first time. He has two sisters who were athletes, and his wife was a stellar high school basketball player. He says being around them helps, but basketball is basketball in the end. BCSN

New AW Women’s Basketball head coach Coach Adams was a senior on the Lincolnview team that lost in the D-IV state title game in 2016. He says that loss gives him perspective as he takes over a Generals team that lost in the D-II title game this past season. BCSN

Fun fact: New AW Women’s Basketball head coach Coach Adams used to cut the grass outside our studios. Three years later, he takes over one of the powerhouse programs in Northwest Ohio at 27 years old. He reflects on his journey below: BCSN

Mind you, this was after he had a bases-clearing single to give Ottawa Hills a 7-4 lead. The Green Bears trailed 4-1 to start this game. They have scored 10 unanswered runs since. Pretty good.

A controversial call in today's D-3 regional final between St. Francis and Wapakoneta. This hit by Jarrett Mullen was called a home run and put Wapakoneta up 6-2. St. Francis ended up scoring three runs in the seventh inning, ultimately losing 6-5. BCSN
