This is insane. We have the land. We have the route. The plans. The design. The tools and people. Just bloody well finish HS2 Ltd - borrowing for capital investment is not the same as borrowing for day-to-day. Markets are not going to panic.

Well who could have seen this coming…. 🙄. Cancelling the most valuable and best value parts of HS2 was a mistake that will cripple our rail network for the better part of a decade. Oh and Labour aren’t fixing this. At the very least 2a must be built by HS2 Ltd and ASAP.

Just. Get. It. Built.

If I’ve understood right, Labour’s guiding policy mind/Treasury Brain has it that government investment can’t happen without growth. As there’s no growth without that investment, especially in infrastructure (HS2 in full), there’s no growth or investment for all of time #hs2
