Yay! Our study of malaria parasite kinetochore proteins is now published in Nature Communications. Jiahong and friends tagged different component of the mitotic apparatus and viewed with Ultra-Expansion Microscopy and multi-section Electron Microscopy. How cool! rdcu.be/dNlcj

But we still wanted to be absolutely sure and recorded 9 tilt series of ribosomes on the same microscope and determined a 9 A structure (hit Nyquist). As we used the same workflow tomoBEAR in both cases, we were sure that the hand of the helix was the same as for the ribosome
