Ok, looks like things are back up and normalish. Sorry about that. Also, I ate so many eggs benedict that I feel like I'm gonna boot.

No one has really noticed, but tweets have been slooooow getting onto the site for months now. That has been fixed. (And hi!)

Soundcloud embeds have been busted on the site for awhile; they are now fixed. See 3rd item here for example stellar.io/jkottke

Oy, Stellar is down. For secret reasons. (I'm pretty sure I need a bigger DB server. Which I hope I can afford…)

Ok, added more memory to the DB and Bob's your uncle. I'm probably not using that right, but I do have an uncle named Bob.

Will post larger update soon, but Fun Pass resubs are happening. If you want to change your sub or cancel or whatever, drop me a line.

1/ Hi, sorry, I know Stellar is down. I'm dealing w/ some other shit in my life right now *and* I need a bigger DB (which costs more $$$).

2/ Stellar sort of breaks even now, but I'm not sure I can justify the extra expense for the new DB.

3/ And there's functionality broken all over the site and I'm not actively dev'ing, so I feel bad asking for more $$$.

4/ So basically I don't know what to do. Ppl still love the site, but it's a lot for me. Too much. But I don't want to take it away.

5/ Anyway, I will see what I can do about getting the site back up when I can. Again, I'm sorry for the outage.

Thanks for the thoughts and reminiscences, everyone. I know how much you liked it, which made this a really tough decision.
