Last stretch to the ferry this morning - we’ve got some tired drivers all very keen to have some quality time with their families this weekend… our humanitarian aid convoys are always non-stop so take some time to process but I know our volunteers will have some amazing memories

Today marks 1000 days since Russia invaded Ukraine - so it seems right that today we announce our 10th Yorkshire Aid Convoy to Ukraine… in 2 weeks, to coincide with St Nicholas Day, we are heading back out with a group of volunteers to deliver some Christmas cheer 🇺🇦 #Ukraine

Today marks the 30th anniversary of the most useless waste of paper in human history: the Budapest Memorandum. I hope no one ever follows Ukraine's steps and disarms in exchange for promises of acceptance and security. It only leads to disdain, dismissal, and death.

Every day is a work day at Yorkshire Aid Convoy - yesterday, Peter, Ben and Chris spent the day picking up some fantastic donations from Harefield Hospital.

Huge thanks to Rob and the team at VanCare for giving our minibus a good going over before it joins the convoy to Ukraine in 2 weeks 🇺🇦

A huge thank you to Dulux Decorator Centre for donating all the paint and decorating supplies for our #diysos care home mission in Ukraine 🇺🇦 - we even convinced Chris to join us to check on our workmanship!

We’ve been absolutely blown away with the response from local companies to help out with our #DIYSOS mission in Ukraine next week - this is a delivery of new mattresses from GNG Group to replace the horrendous beds the residents are currently sleeping on - thanks so much 🙏🏻

6 trucks packed with aid will set off from Yorkshire this afternoon, destined for Ukraine. 19 volunteers from the Yorkshire Aid Convoy 🇬🇧🇺🇦🚛 will make the 3000 mile round trip, to refurbish a care home, where 40 elderly people who lost everything, have taken shelter, sharing just one bathroom
