The Commissioner of NAYCOM Ahmed Atata Mansaray with support from GIZ has embarked on a 3 day of Monitoring & certification of over 400 young people in Kono District. This set of young people over the years has been inculcated & trained in Agro business & motorbike maintenance.

Today NAYCOM held its 1st meeting with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).Critical environmental issues that are hazardous to the general populace were discussed & ways in which NAYCOM will strengthen partnership & collaborate with EPA in addressing some of the challenges

The National Youth Commission, with support from Orange Sierra Leone has successfully launched the women Digital and Learning Program. The launching was done with a graduation & certification ceremony for the first cohort of graduates in Kenema & Bombali Districts respectively.

Today, we donated office equipment followed by the signing of a MoU to formalize partnership with the National Youth Commission. IOM is committed to strengthen government’s capacity to provide assistance to returning migrants, who are mostly youth. Thanks to the EU for funding.

We are thrilled to announce the signing of an MOU with IOM Sierra Leone, which was followed by a donation of equipment. This is part of the effort to strengthen the long existing partnership between us. Thanks to EU & Isle of Man for their continous support towards capacity building.

NAYCOM engages stakeholders in Bo & Makeni on the Component 3A Productive Social Safety Net Youth & Employment project(PSSNYE). This initiative seeks to provide grants & training to at least 8,000 urban youth aged 18-35 with financial support & social services to be self-reliant.

The Commissioner of NAYCOM Ahmed Atata Mansaray Esq is among the Sierra Leone delegations to join other West Africa countries for a 2-day meeting in Accra Ghana. The event is geared towards the establishment of an ECOWAS Youth Parliament. Thus, NAYCOM is grateful for the insight.

NAYCOM ends the orientation training for service providers on the overall processes of the implementation of the PSSNYE Project in Freetown & Bo. The project is funded by World Bank, which is geared towards capacitating young people with small-scale businesses across the country

In a unified effort to fulfil President Bio’s commitment towards the human capital development agenda for young people in Sierra Leone, NAYCOM with support from Orange Foundation SL, has certified over 200 students at the Women's Digital Center in Freetown.
