Went to a really interesting talk by Brian Groom this morning in Swinton. ā€œMade in Manchester -a People’s History of the City That Shaped the Modern Worldā€ amongst other highlights was the part about Kathleen Drew-Baker who ā€˜saved Japan’s sushi industry’ and is celebrated annually.
