#Postdoc Opportunity: Interested in learning how cells translate mechanical stimuli into changes in gene expression? Join our nuclear #mechanotransduction team at Cornell BME and Weill Institute for Cell & Molecular Biology. Strong background in #bioinformatics desired. tinyurl.com/mechanobiology… Please RT!

Pathway to Independence – an interview with Girish Kale Read this interview with Girish Kale, one of Development's Pathway to Independence Programme Fellows, about what drives and excites him, and what he hopes to achieve in his own lab: journals.biologists.com/dev/article/15…

Thankful to be part of the Physical Models of Living Matters meeting. High caliber talks from chromatin to multicellular dynamics; microscopy, theory and genetics! Fearless leader Keng-hui Lin pull out all the stops. Taiwan as emerging regional hub in physics of life? Yes we can!

This has been a fantastic team-work experience. Thanks to everyone who contributed: Carlo for BM, Julio & Abhisha for the physical modelling, Maria Leptin for your support and Robert Prevedel Lab for allowing me to work with total freedom. BTW: I am looking for GL positions! 👨🏫 😃

Very interesting data from 🇦🇷🇦🇷Juan Manuel Gomez Elliff Prevedel Lab with Brillouin microscopy on fly gastrulation. Completes with dependency on microtubule. High time looking into material properties during morphogenesis.

📢We have a 3y postdoc position available in our interdisciplinary team Institut Curie #Paris Join us if you're interested in epithelial tissue morphogenesis using live imaging, quantitative biology & (opto)genetics. institut-curie.org/team/bellaiche Please RT!

I hope folks IISER Pune and Richa Rikhy lab like where we are taking the story to on the foundation of the insightful and elegant discovery done there. Can’t wait to hear what feedback they have.

Latest from our lab! We would like to express deepest gratitude to Dr. Niwa Ryusuke Niwa of the Univ. of Tsukuba and the co-authors.

📣Wanna hear our story about the complex mechanical dynamics that cell populations undergo during the most important morphogenetic event? -Of course I am talking about gastrulation 🙂🤘. Join us this Wed at 10:00 CET, details -> Virtual Gastrulation Zoom Talks Prevedel Lab
