Our Mitsuhiro Matsuda&Hanako Hayashi's "Human Time vs Mouse Time" project has been published Science Magazine Human segmentation clock(5h oscillation period) is slower than mouse (2h period) because multiple biochemical reactions are slower in human cells science.sciencemag.org/content/369/65…

Our work #aboutime "Species-specific pace of development is associated with differences in protein stability" is now published science.sciencemag.org/content/369/65…. What determines the pace of embryonic development?

Exciting review and researches. If we slow down the proteasome-dependent degradation in mice, will it be a largely different organism...? nature.com/articles/d4158…

Congrats Yuichi FURUHATA and team for streamlining yeast genetic code expansion through OrthoRep-driven evolution of aaRSs. Several evolved aaRSs give high translational efficiency with unnatural amino acids. A neat self-regulating aaRS is also found. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Happy to share the peer-reviewed and updated version of our work on OrthoRep-driven evolution of aaRSs for genetic code expansion with unnatural amino acids. Congrats to Yuichi FURUHATA, a true master bioengineer, on leading this excellent work! nature.com/articles/s4146…
