I’ve just finished the two-week fruitful study tour at OPLSS, which is also my first journey to the US. I highly recommend anyone interested in programming languages to attend OPLSS in next years!

If there are chances in the future, I’ll definitely choose Air New Zealand again: free inflight Wi-Fi and the cozy Skycouch™ (though the length is more suitable for a hobbit to sleep)

Amber code is cancelled just after banning me from restaurants for the whole three days... Now I only hope the current ‘5+3’ quarantine rule in China can be eased as soon as possible.

Finished my very first trip to Europe, or more specifically, Italy and the two microstates enclaved by Italy, San Marino and Vatican City. I spent one week in Bertinoro attending PLISS’23 and one more week for tourism; both are amazing! The picture is the Alps through a porthole.

I’m super happy to share that I won the first prize and audience awards in the student research competition at APLAS 2024. This is the first APLAS physically in Asia after COVID-19. Thanks to the conference organizers who made the wonderful conference possible!

I’m very honored to have joined the National Institute of Informatics since last week, working with Taro Sekiyama on typing-related topics including algebraic effects. NII is so centrally located that I can see the roof of Nippon Budokan!
