I’ve listened to our company’s leaders tell us over and over they don’t think the work we do at New York Magazine can be done by AI. We know our readers certainly don’t want to pay for a magazine like that. So let's put basic job protections in our contract.

If you're an New York Magazine subscriber it should trouble you that the magazine won't stand up for its human writers, editors, copyeditors, fact checkers, producers, and all the people who makes the stories you enjoy.

don't replace us with robots!! sir ridley scott depicted the dangers of such in the movie alien: covenant and the robot couldn't even properly cite poetry!!
