To those who are quiet and thinking whilst Gaza is reduced to rubble. Do you need to write a thesis before opposing genocide? Your silence is deafening.

1/N I was interviewed by nature. The article that came out is problematic in many ways: 1. It portrays the situation as a sad and symmetric tragedy, even discussing the possibility of collaboration between Israeli and Palestinian universities. nature.com/articles/d4158…

It's an appalling proposal (though not surprising from this gov't) and will further reduce access to care + likely exacerbate chronic physical and mental health conditions for people who are already struggling which will lead to increased burden on all healthcare services.

There is no such thing as “a sick note culture.” There is a record high NHS waiting list, crippling housing costs, widespread food poverty, stagnant wages and inadequate benefit rates, a broken social care system, dire mental health services, and closed Sure Start centres.

Just to mention (because I talk about physiological safety here) that psychological safety is also a very important aspect of making psychedelic-based therapies clinically feasible...but this is not my domain.

"A dark day" "Democracy has died" Where tf have some of you been? It's weird that some people think democracy even existed when you flip flop between the same 2 parties every 5-10 years as quality of life for most has steadily declined and your tax gets used to fund endless war.
