And now the last blocker for GIMP RC2 has been merged! 🥳 It's code by 𝑝𝑖𝑝𝑝𝑖𝑛 - goblin mode for a new "Perceptual" blend space for layer modes. It fixes some layer modes where the algorithm was expecting perceptual input. We are **very** close to a new release candidate! 🎅

After careful consideration, @ZeMarmot decided to publish a third release candidate for #GIMP 3.0.0, because some fixes made changed core logic. So we'll want a bit more testing. ~14 more reports to close (of course, this number fluctuates as we progress but rhythm is good!). 🧑‍💻
