I can confirm that the Nationals have fired Mike Rizzo and Davey Martinez, per source. Stunning news first reported by Jeff Passan. Mike Rizzo has been with the Nats since 2006, initially as an assistant GM. Martinez was hired as the team’s manager in 2018.
