Yesterday, we lost a long time volunteer and trustee of Buckingham Canal Society, Gerry Millard, who died peacefully in the hospital. Gerry was great at fixing our engines and also had an exceptional personality. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. He will be missed💔

Whilst change is inevitable as our network ages , our heritage teams work closely with our teams on the ground so that we can keep the history of our waterways alive ⏳ Thanks to their efforts, generations to come will be able to use our network in the many ways we do today 💙
