On Sep 18, Deputy Consul General Okagaki attended and gave remarks at the "Celebrating Gifts of Japan" event at University of the Fraser Valley's Library (UFV Library) which celebrated Japanese culture and the book donation to UFV by the Read Japan Project (READ JAPAN PROJECT: The Nippon Foundation).

We also held an information table to share opportunities to work and study in Japan such as the JET Programme (JET Programme Canada) and MEXT scholarships. Thank you to UFV Library and UFV International for hosting us at this event!
