Over the weekend, I attended the pre-conference at the IAS - the International AIDS Society IAC - the International AIDS Conference. My key takeaway was that we need to embrace community-led approaches, including in research. I also presented our work on HIV self-testing in Northern Uganda (doi.org/10.1186/s43058…) #AIDS2024

Our combination immunotherapy clinical trial shows that following ART interruption, 4/20 participants controlled HIV without ART for up to 1.5 years.
