This week for Drawing Natural Hx We were tasked with doing drawings in a field journal! My partner and I took a day trip to the zoo to satisfy my need to draw some animals. I have a lot to learn about working in color for scanning, but I think they came out really well!

More sketches for my Drawing Natural Hx course: A line drawing study of forsythia flowers and a value drawing of a leaf to display understanding of structure. It's still pretty early spring here, though, and we just had another bout of snow over the weekend, so all I could find were these!
