Anyone in a Senate confirmable position, and anyone who works for anyone in a Senate confirmable position knows who the 100 sitting senators are. Also should be briefed on positions of elected officials anywhere they are giving a press conference.

I'll add that law enforcement in federal buildings absolutely know who the US elected officals are where that building is located. It is their job to protect them.
