Our Manuscript of the Week is The Book of O'Gara (RIA MS 23 F 16). This collection of Irish bardic poetry was assembled in the Low Countries in the mid-17th C. A colophon at the bottom expresses the scribe's anxious desire to catch a glimpse of Ireland again!
