In Season Athletes - there is NO advantage to being weaker by skipping your strength training. You need 2 low volume workouts each week, 25 -30 minutes on average is all you need. Post season when the competition is hurting & slow, you'll be feeling GREAT!

More training isn't always the answer. Sometimes what kids really need is MORE sleep, MORE rest, and MORE unstructured time. Recovery is underrated in development.
