Decided to join the Ministry of Testing Twitter space with @simon_tomes and @FullSnackTester discussing snacks and #testbash while doing a little embroidery. Nice way to spend my lunch break.

All prepared for #TestBash. Anyone planning on trying out the Accessibility Testing Activity on the Friday? You may be asked to wear these. Colour blindness is easy to forget about when testing software applications.

Did anyone catch the talk 'Don't be a fool with a tool' by Christian Baumann at #TestBash? I wasn't able to attend it this time, but had attended the talk at a previous conference. Here is the #sketchnote from the earlier version of his talk. louisegibbstest.wordpress.com/2022/06/15/exp…

Anyone who didn’t get a chance to take part in my #accessibility testing activity at #TestBash, there is a version of the activity that can be completed at home. louisegibbstest.wordpress.com/testbash-uk-ac…

This quote came from Wikipedia and was my favourite way to describe exploratory testing. Many definitions focus on it being simply unscripted but I believe the chance to learn while testing is the most important benefit of exploratory testing.

Just bought my ticket for #TestBash X which takes place at Milton Keynes in 2 weeks time. So excited. Is anyone else planning on attending? ministryoftesting.com/events/testbas…

Is anyone attempting the advent of code challenge? Little late getting started but I've now been able to complete Day 1 - 3. I just completed "Rucksack Reorganization" - Day 3 - Advent of Code 2022 adventofcode.com/2022/day/3 #AdventOfCode

To avoid potential burnout, I have decided to take a break from conferences next year. However I would like to support others who want to speak at a testing conference. If you want to discuss an idea or want advise on how to apply to speak at conferences, please contact me.

Is it better to pick a tool before defining the problem or should we ensure we fully understand the problem first? Been taking a break from blogging, but was inspired to start writing again after attending the Ministry of Testing this week in testing session. louisegibbstest.wordpress.com/2023/05/15/pro…

It’s with great sadness and disappointment that I inform you all that I am no longer the BossBoss (CEO) at Ministry of Testing, and my employment has been terminated with immediate effect. 1/N
