My New Favorite Player: PETE CROW-ARMSTRONG Cubs center fielder and defensive whiz who’s ridden a powerful season at the plate to a legit MVP candidacy so far: 💬 I'm trying not to nitpick about an OBP in the low .300s, so instead, let's focus on the fact this is a 23-year-old

Sadly the 1984 “Flexbone” was one of lowest producing offensives in the Wishbone era for the Sooners both in Scoring & Total Offense. Luckily the Defense was Elite.

Broderick Simpson definitely played with an edge, Tyrell Peters, 3 1/2 year Starter, near elite talent, play on some very average Sooner teams.

My first thoughts when Broderick Simpson is mentioned is that, when I talk to players from that era is “who is the player in that locker room that you didn’t want to mess with?” The name that come up the most….Broderick Simpson.😎

You can not overstate how good that Sooner Defense was: Total Defense Nalt. Ranking 1984 2 85. 1 86 1 87 1 Scoring allowed Nalt. Ranking 84. 6 85. 2 86 1 87 1 88 7

Come on guys, let’s include the 1462y’s of KOR yardage to put his All-Purpose Sooner record at 6718y’s & bump the total TD’s to his school record 65. Did I mention that DeMarco missed 5g’s to injuries during his Sooner Career.
