The Barclays Women's Super League will expand to 14 with, next season, two teams promoted from the WSL2 (Championship). On today's Expected Goals, Maggie Murphy and I look at the clubs best positioned to benefit, and why there's been shift from expanding the second-tier to expanding the top-tier.

UEFA/Switzerland smashed it out of the park with UEFA Women's EURO 2025. The tournament ended with a total attendance of 657k - up 14% on Euro 2022, held of course in England. All the more impressive, when you consider: 1) Switzerland's population is a sixth of England's (c. 9m vs 56m)...
